"Does anyone have the story of the Acadian widow (Landry) and her daughter who was guillotined for helping a priest?"

The guillotined Acadian woman, Anne LePrince, was born about 1724 in Acadie, died 1 Jul 1794 at Brest, France.Note by Stephen A. White, Dictionnaire Généalogique des Familles Acadiennes,p. 1081.

She died (according to C.-J. d'ENTREMONT) at Brest on 1 Jul 1794 at age 80years (sic), "sur l'e'chafaud [scaffold]."

Bona Arsenault, Histoire et Généalogie des Acadiens, pp. 1237 (Grand Pré) &1423 (Pisiguit) also has a reference:A martyr of the French Revolution, she was guillotined with one of her daughters and Abbe Clech on 1 Jul 1794. (Reference: Guillon, LES MARTYRS DE LAFOI; 1821, vol. 3, p. 489.)
